using gradients

1. First, open up an image using adobe photoshop. You can use mine if you like. I chose a black and white image so you can see the effect clearly.
2. Then click Image > Adjust > Brightness/Contrast. Increase the Contrast by around thirteen or so.
3. Next, create a new layer by going to Layer > New. Or hit Shft + Ctrl + N.
4. Then, select the Gradient Tool (G) and in the menu bar at the top choose radial gradient. (Hover to see their names)

5. Now, all you have to do is select a color; click and drag to make your gradient; and repeat until you feel you have as many colours and gradients as you want.
6. Remeber to keep all the gradients on one layer and the image on another layer.
7. Now, go to Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options > and from the dropdown menu, choose a color.
8. To finish it off just add some brushes or some text.
