Uploading Images

1. First you have to find a layout that you would like to use. After you have found that we are going to save the images! I'll show you how to save images in Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Saving in Firefox
A. First you have to save the main image, so right click > view image to make sure you are saving the right thing.

B. Then when the image is by itself you can right click > save image as.... There will be a little dialog box that pops up and shows your documents. Pick where you want to save it and you should be good to go!

C. There also might be a background image with the layout, so scroll down a little where the text is. Right click > view background image, so you can get on with saving it. And do the exact same thing as in step three and you should be good to go!

TIP Make sure when you save your images you give them names that you can identify when you are searching for them when you upload them on photobucket (ex. layoutbackground, layoutimage, etc.).

SAVING IN EXPLORER
A. Make sure you are on the layout image itself and then hit right click > save picture as... There will be a dialog box that pops up and you can save your image file under a name you can identify.

B. There might also be a background image that you need to save, just right click > save background as... and another dialog box will pop up for you to save your background image, try saving both the layout and the background in the same place.

2. Now after you saved your images it's time to log into your Photobucket!, I find that photobucket loads images the fastest, but you can log into imageshack or tinypic, whatever you feel your more comfortable with.

3. VERY IMPORTANT! Before you upload any images you have to set the image size or then it will screw up the entire layout if the image is to small! On the first page you will see some "Browse" buttons, and right above it you will see a tiny little "options" button, you need to click on that to change the image size so all the images in the code will work properly.

4. After you click on that you will have a dialog box that opens, you need to click on the 17'' Screen button and hit "Save" that will ensure that none of your images will be shrink down and then screw up the layout.

5. The first page you come to has "Browse" buttons, hit those and it will come up with your documents dialog box, search for where you saved your files. Click on the image you want to upload, and then hit open. Do that for both your layout image and background image and then click "upload".

6. After the images upload, it may take a few seconds, you have to put them in your quizilla layout! Just have the layout code copied, sign into your Quizilla go to your account > edit your homepage. There you can erase your old code and then paste the new one. Look in the top part of the code there will be a link like code where you put the images you uploaded, it should be right before you can start editing your layout.

7. Now copy the layout image codes in photobucket called "direct link" and put them in where it says too! Make sure you don't erase the quotations marks or the parenthesis in the code or the image won't show up and then you'll have to re-copy the orginal code.

So I hope I made this tutorial as idiot-proof as possible. But if you still have any questions just send me an e-mail or a message on my quizilla account!
